1. Description
Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation (F-REI) was established by the Government of Japan in April 2023 to support the revitalization of Fukushima and the wider Tohoku region through research, innovation, and collaboration. The institute brings together researchers from diverse disciplines to address scientific and societal challenges while fostering innovation and regional development.
F-REI is recruiting Researcher, Senior Researcher, Expert or Senior Expert (non-PI positions) to join its growing research units and contribute to cutting-edge science, technology, and innovation in Fukushima.
Research Fields
We are seeking qualified candidates across five research areas.
· Area 1: Robotics
· Area 2: Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries
· Area 3: Energy
· Area 4: Radiation Science, Medicine and Drug Development, & Industrial Applications for Radiation
· Area 5: Collection and Dissemination of Data and Knowledge on Nuclear Disasters
