(Closed) Call for Research Proposals: Commissioned Project for “Research and Development Project of sensor technology for drones for disaster prevention and response” in FY2023

1. Research Theme:

  • (1) Conduct research and development of small and lightweight sensor devices, sensor information procession technology, and flight control technology for drones to be controlled normally even in harsh environments (e.g., bad weather, disruption of GNSS(GPS)signals, etc.) under disaster conditions, and develop methods to properly evaluate their performance.
  • (2) Research and standardization of international evaluation norms for the above items in cooperation with ministries, local governments and overseas research institutions, utilizing the Fukushima Robot Test Field, etc.

2. Deadline for Submission of Proposals:

5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2023 (Japan Standard Time)
