HEDC competition, the beginning of a heated battle at Namie Town Cosmos Arena!
Prior to the actual WRS2025 event, the teams participating in the HEDC competition gathered at the Cosmos Arena in Namie Town with drone equipment. In the orientation, the operation policy, judging rules, and outline of the aircraft inspection of the competition were explained, and preparations for the actual performance will finally begin in earnest.
In the lottery held afterwards, the date and time of each team's participation were decided. Each participating team will enter the final adjustment for their allotted competition time (slot). Please look forward to the heated battles that will unfold on the WRS2025 stage!
In addition, at the Cosmos Arena, the preparation status of the drone will be released during the WRS2025 tournament period.

HEDC Competition: Aircraft Inspection Begins, Preparations for the Competition Begin
In the paddock set up in the main arena of Cosmos Arena in Namie Town, each team participating in the HEDC competition is busy preparing drone equipment. Today, Higashino, Chairman of the Jury and Tozawa, Safety Monitoring Committee Chairman became inspectors and conducted an aircraft inspection (commonly known as a vehicle inspection).
This aircraft inspection is conducted to confirm compliance with various regulations, including the Japan Radio Law, and the rules of HEDC competitions. Each team was pointed out multiple non-conformities and asked to correct them. If corrections are not made before the start of the competition, they will be disqualified, so each team listened carefully to the inspector's explanation and considered countermeasures. The management office will also provide maximum support to ensure that each team can participate in the competition smoothly.
