A workshop on decommissioning robotics was held with the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) in Tokyo on November 4 - 5, 2025.
At this workshop, UKAEA presented case studies on decommissioning robotics technologies and shared initiatives related to their social impact. Researchers from F-REI’s robotics research area, along with experts and stakeholders from Japanese organizations involved in nuclear decommissioning, such as Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency engaged in a wide-ranging exchange of views.
