Following the session on Wednesday, June 18, F-REI Top Seminar continued at the National Institute of Technology, Fukushima College on Thursday, June 19. The seminar was attended by approximately 90 third-year students from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Business Communication. F-REI Auditor MORISHITA Shin delivered the lecture, titled "Mindset towards Study and Research." Auditor Morishita started the lecture by showing various future career paths for technical college graduates. The research path is one of them. Auditor Morishita described how a researcher must be driven by curiosity and passion to solve problems. Moreover, he emphasized the three essential attitudes that characterize a good researcher - "to question," "to learn," and "to innovate." Before ending the lecture, he assured that the knowledge and skills learned at school will be important in the future, thus encouraging the students to study diligently.
