(Closed) Community Development Research and Learning/Community Hub Development Project in the Fukushima Hamadori Area in 2023FY

Objectives:

1. Community development research in the Fukushima Hamadori area
   Researching on community development (research areas such as urban engineering, urban planning, and urban administration) that will contribute to the reconstruction of the Fukushima Hamadori area (hereinafter referred to as "the area") while establishing a research base in the area and cooperating with F-REI and local governments in the area, etc., to create solutions for future issues and create attractiveness of the area with an eye on society 30 years from now.
   Developing human resources while having graduate students engage in research programs that focus on the area.
   (The research base shall set up a research space in the area and assign multiple researchers (including young researchers and part-time workers).)
2. Learning/Community hub development project in the Fukushima Hamadori area
   Developing a learning community hub in the area to provide opportunities for people and researchers from inside and outside the area to interact on a regular basis.
   Developing and implementing the area education programs for junior and senior high school students aimed at solving future issues while cooperating with F-REI and local governments in the area, etc., to create solutions for future issues with an eye on society 30 years from now.
   (The learning community hub shall have an interaction space (café, etc.) in the area and assign young researchers and part-time workers. In addition, it is assumed that it will continue to run on its own after the implementation period.)
